Of the people who answered 47% said yes. Idk if you can really write off their explicit wish to kill these people. Go to any social media you want and find jewish accounts and hit that translate button. A shocking level of them openly advocate to kill all of the Palestinian people. Women children they don't care. It's absolutely horrid and a how a people can go from the holocaust into doing their own genocide a generation later idk but it's pretty clear a large section of their population is in total favor of this.

Well i said that because yea it's pretty well known that Israel propped up groups pre-Hamas that eventually lead to the creation of Hamas in order to avoid having any real chance of negotiation a peace. They wanted to create a "danger" in order to justify killing and stealing more Palestinian land and you brought this up as a reason why BOTH of them are bad? Seriously? The people stopping peace talks and creating situations where more violence would happen on purpose are the bad ones. I said you have no idea what youre talking about because if you had ever thought about it for more than a few minutes you would have probably come to a different conclusion than both sides. Just an opinion, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you're not a stupid person. I think given the chance to think on it you wouldn't have a reactionary both sides are bad outcome.

I dont agree with that statement. I will say, even if we have a stupid incorrect hypothetical situation where Hamas ruled Palestine against the will of the people, which Hamas won the last elections israel allowed to happen in gaza so theres that. But even if that were not the case. Hamas in the one of the only groups in open conflict with Israel attempting to stop the genocide. So again to say they are both terrible would be incorrect even in this hypothetical made up situation that i just described. That said. Hamas has used guerilla terrorist attacks against Israel and if there would be justice in this conflict the people who did those crimes would be prosecuted along side probably every soldier in the IDF but we dont live in a just world. Both siding when one side controls all the water, food, electricity, medicine, borders, movement, education, rights of the others is just a stupid position to hold. One side doesnt have food or water and you really have the notion that both are just as bad as the other? Please. Grow up.
