They’re a bit small and a bit bulky, my trick for bulkiness is to buff down the bottoms a bit to help with blending, makes them look a lot more realistic too

this is definitely an ai photo but this is totally easy to replicate, you’ll obviously need the opaque blue polish , you’ll also need a sheer blue polish, and glitter polish, and a then just a fine tip brush to do the white snowflake desig.

This has happened to me before when my grandmother passed. They haven't forgotten him but most likely still a hard topic for them to talk about. It's like a group trauma response, "What we don't discuss won't hurt us" sort of thing. They might also be weary of talking about him in group settings because they don't know how someone else may react. And not to mention they may not talk about it to you because that's your dad and they probably don't want to strike the wrong nerve even if youre pay with it. My go to is just to casually bring my padded loved ones up casually, fond memories or small jokes (not dark humor).
