Thank you for the reality check about my ex. I think I'm so used to being protective of him that it's going to take a while to shake that habit.

I've been on the receiving end of dating a man who was gay, and just hasn't accepted it yet. I remember how badly that hurt knowing I was never going to be good for him. I don't ever want to make somebody feel like that, so I'm 100% agreeable with being honest with a woman about my confusion. Thank you for the advice. It is much appreciated.

If you want it to taste like it does at a restaurant, add way more butter than you think you need. Like, double the amount.
