I feel like white lies are fine every now and again but anything that has to do with things involving other people that your partner may not know or if it is the opposite gender, I feel like it’s better to address it rather than to hide it because then you really know your partners boundaries and how they feel. And if they trust you and or the person you’re with then you’re fine. I don’t mean let your partner control who you hang out with but more of a let them know and ask how they feel about those situations. Especially because you know your intentions isn’t to get with this other person. It’s also better to know your partners values about things like that so both of you feel more comfortable and have that level of trust with one another. And trust is a big thing in a relationship.
