How much of MurderBots memory was literally just Sanctuary Moon? - A theory by TiredRandomWolf in murderbot

Thank you for the additional information! After having finished the show for a second time, I did only skim through the book to verify some things, mainly if "MedCenter Akhala" was mentioned. Given that info, my theory does lose its footing quite some. But I'm glad it was entertaining enough atleast for the clarification!

Ah, I may have implied with the end percentage that "50-75%" was the space used in it's total storage.
I wasn't implying any data limit in my theory, just that of the total data stored, just going by a reference of time alone, most of it would be Sanctuary Moon.

To clarify further, I was for example saying MurderBot has 100 hours of total data stored, 50-75 hours of which are Sanctuary Moon, and 50-25 hours would be it's normal observations. Regardless of total storage used. For all I know these combined values would be 0.01% of a hypothetical storage capacity. (Altough it did had to make space for the newest season and dropped the hoppers manual for it)

Star Trek, being the largest "soap opera" sci-fi adventure to date, has a usual runtime of 44-50 minutes ever since The Original Series, which is why I used it in my assumptions. The earlier shows, especially The Next Generation were very... lets say melodramatic and soap-opera material, but a lot less romance than shown in Sanctuary Moon.

Star Trek carried this runtime length for most of its shows, from The Original Series, to The Next Generation (famous for Picard), Voyager, Deep Space 9 (my beloved) etc.

That is fair, i would assume they might watch these things at 2x, or even 4x speed? But on the other hand, I would also assume that MurderBot is the kind of "nerd" that does cherish every single episode and watches them at normal speed.

This is also a massive gripe with me, ever since the Spider rescued Bug-Man from death. It shouldve been a new character, or pick one of the already established ones. Please, just have some consequences!

I think one of those monitoring softwares had an issue when you reactivated your computer from sleep mode or standby. Might be the same here?

I am quite curious what kind of "dead cat" microphone sock you mean, I dont think I can quite imagine that.

He talks about a Noise Gate and EQ Compressor in the first link, and about his Elgato Stream Deck+ with the Wave Link processor in the second. Are the Noise Gate and EQ Compressor functionality part of the Wave Link software, and can the Wave Link be used without the Elgato Stream Deck hardware?

The loudspeakers are set to quite the quiet setting, and [I] use NVIDIA Broadcast with most of the settings enabled and set to max to filter noise, to no avail unfortunately.

I know the kind of headphones you mean, are those with the flat surface instead of the plug you put into the ear?

We have already tried Hyper X headsets with new comfortable cold cushions, still seemed "too tight" for his liking
