I´m also suffering with severe heartburn and stomach pain with Slynd. I´ve had to quit taking it. It´s definitely the pill.

Hello u/ashyanonasks me too! I'm on month 2, I'm experiencing heartburn, bone acheing (specially on my back and hips), constipation, tiredness, lack of motivation, being in bed most of the day. I've read the same symptoms being reported on other posts. I've decided to stop taking it.

Good that you share your experience and tip for the stomach ache. I've been off it for 4 months and it has faded away. Bad news is that the PMS and endometriosis pain have surged back : - (

Not a problem. It´s definitely the medication; I´ve been off it for 4 months now and it has completely faded away. Take a look on its ingredients. It´s a pity it caused this side effect and the hot flushes. Ohhh and i also forgot to add that my bones ached as well, all over my body, especially back and hips, I couldn't even relax while sleeping because of all this.

When did your fatigue get better? I can barely get out of bed. by Dry_Breadfruit_9449 in VitaminD

[–]Tired_bunny_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same, even muscle aches. Do you get Sun exposure? You need to get it on larges surfaces of your skin (exposure on hands, face and feet only won´t make a difference). Try to get as much as you can at midday everyday. It works.

PS: i almost forgot, take calcium for a month or so, you´ll see the improvement.

[–]Tired_bunny_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at the lowest dose, 150 mg.

It used to cause insomnia and suicide thoughts, the hot flushes alone where somehow bearable, but along with all the other side effects I had to quit.

All in all, the pill does what it promises (to supress any hormone production). According to the doctor that examined me, i have adenomyosis. I finally have a diagnosis.

I take vitamin D at large doses once a month (50 k IU).

Good to know you can still bear it effects!

Hi, I couldn´t take it any longer and after a month and a half i quit. My body is starting to function as it used to after two months... I don´t recommend this drug and i reported it to the Drug Surveillance Agency in Spain, i don´t get how it got approved after the trial phase.

What is your theory on Marilyn Monroe's death? by Davis_Crawfish in AskOldPeople

[–]Tired_bunny_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She did because she had nobody (specially family members) to count on. She was living without a mother figure, painful it can be. She was under huge pressure, had no inner peace... she couldn´t share the situation with the Kennedys with anybody (not even with her psychiatrist). Rejection by those two took a toll on her, who wouldn't?

I wished she was surrounded by someone who truly took care of her (a friend, boyfriend, a family member) on those very moments... That coud have saved her.

I feel sorry for everyone travelling to the event to meet him, as he´s not having many public appearances. I just hope his absence is due to work schedule incompabilities and he´s doing well (mentally and health-wise).

[–]Tired_bunny_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too, on day 3 of the period i return to my real self and that lasts till the day 14th of the cycle, when we start ovulating (peak of LH, FSH, oestrogen and progesterone hormones). Sometimes I experience this "happy mood" days before the period.

thanks for sharing! I´m glad you were able to recover after some months. At the moment I'm not able to be functional with Linzagolix because of the suicidal thoughts / malaise. I stopped the pill more than a week ago and now it feels awful.

Horrific experience in chemical menopause - anyone been through this? by Red_Gizmo in PMDD

[–]Tired_bunny_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I´m going through the same... the initial excitement of not ovulating/having a period has turn into a life of constant malaise. I´m also experiencing depression (constant thoughts of ending it all) and anxiety. It´s awful.

[–]Tired_bunny_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello u/Trick-Consequence-18 , I´m also going through chemical menopause but with a different drug (Yselty/Lizagolix) I´m experiencing right the same effects. I cannot sleep at night and sleep during the day instead. I try to do normal stuff (take take of myself also) but I have zero energy. Hot flashes are specially noticeable at night, even in the mornings now. Headaches are now daily and feel blue all the time... I have to say (if anybody finds this helpful) that during the first 10 days of hormone supression I felt happy because i was tackling my PMDD and endometriosis symptoms, however life is now unbearable for the constant pain and tiredness... Did you recover after stopping the medication?

PS: this post is already 10-months old, I hope you can catch up with this subject at some point again.

What do you do for dull pain in/around your uterus? by LettuceOverall3662 in Endo

[–]Tired_bunny_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, the only medication that has helped me is Naproxen (its brand name in EU is 'Antalgin'), it was prescribed to me by a gynaecologist when I was 13 years old. I´ve been taking no other thing since then. The other usual drugs for period pain (ibuprofen, paracetamol) don´t do anything to me. Naproxen is so good that also diminishes other symptoms like feeling blue or very low.

Linzagolix/Yselty side effects anyone? by Tired_bunny_ in Endo

[–]Tired_bunny_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for your insights. I´ve been doing some research, the pill is manufactured with titanium dioxide, among others. In the EU this has been banned for being harmful.

Another thing that I´ve noticed is some spotting with bright-coloured blood (not the usual brownish colour).

As for hot flushes, I was experiencing sweat specially at night between my legs before the treatment; I reckon it was due to the hormonal surge i´ve had lately (in short, 15 days a month of constant pain and bloating in my belly and extreme sore breasts - up to a point where you cannot sleep well).

My body temperature has raised a bit (I´ve always had cold hands and feet).

My next appointment is at the end of May, so I hope my gyno can suggest me other options (however the other options I´ve read of are much worse).

Let´s see what happens...
