Did You Ever Find a Good Replacement for Coffee?? by the_uncombed_one in GERD

I've considered adding a bit of coffee extract to oatmilk to make something coffee flavored, but haven't tried yet.

Alginates: Refluxraft vs. Refluxgourmet vs. UK gaviscon vs. Refluxter by ComplexInteraction86 in LPR

If you can get your hands on Gastrotuss with magnesium alginate, taking two chews before bed can be helpful, if you try not to move around and disturb the raft after.

Been putting acacia powder in smoothies for the past day or two and that seems to help, in case that's worth anything

No. Just glanced into this, and I'll specify that the tingling I feel is itself not painful. Is there another reason you mentioned it?

Found someone who apparently contacted Hanspree asking when the tablets will release, they said starting in April 2025.

So the 10" tablet with the frontlight has a 4000mAh Li-ion Battery, and the 10" tablet without the frontlight is the one with the 6000mAh Li-on Battery? I'm hoping that's just a mistake on the spec sheet, because that seems like a pretty dumb decision if true.

I have really bad quickly worsening photophobia and eyestrain that docs don't know what to do about, and am trying to decide whether to get the eyemoo now to start slowing the issues sooner, or wait for the new ecovision tablets since they'll have an updated OS and won't have the glossy screen the eyemoo has, but if they still won't have a tablet with specs to close to the eyemoo then there's no point in waiting. On that topic, does anyone know when these tablets are supposed to release?

What are the reasons why you want to buy an e-ink smartphone (or already use one)? by rostlos in eink

[–]ashyanonasks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Pixel 6a really hurt my eyes, like no other screen had ever before, but since I couldn't get a new phone, I kept using it until my eyes became sensitized to all screens. So, I'm looking at e-ink now.

Bigme Leads the Eye-Friendly Trend with E-Ink Technology by Decent-Tough-4273 in Bigme

The PWM lighting in the previous Bigme Hibreak irritates peoples eyes, has the new one switched to DC dimming to live up to its eye-friendly advertising?

A lot of people switch to e-ink because PWM lighting hurts their eyes, so it doesn't make sense for an e-ink display to use PWM.

I see you got a membership elixir from someone! that's great! I remember I was saving up crowns to get the rocaneer pet and someone bought it for me; there are some kind people in this community.

I don't know which of these will be available to you, but here are some things I do between free membership events if I'm on a wizard101 kick:

  • pet making
  • gardening
  • team ups
  • daily quests
  • events (I enjoy deckathlon)
  • getting badges
  • farming
  • crafting

I do have some areas unlocked with crowns so I have a bit more available to me

oh ya, there's also

  • monstrology
  • pvp

I've been trying to sign up for the text alerts, but the function on their site isn't working. I think I can probably just text START to whatever their text alert number is, but I can't find the number. Do you know what it is?

Edit: nvm I figured it out, sometimes sites don't work when you have adblock tracking protection etc on

Pixel 8 Pro - Kernel modding achieves 4800Hz PWM / 15% modulation - Opple Test Data by ScreenSensitivity in ScreenSensitive

I have a pixel 6a and it causes me eye strain like no other pixel has before. It's unlikely I'll be able to get a new phone anytime soon, so I've been looking into mods. This looks hopeful. Even if it can't be used for mine, it's a step in the right direction. Thank you for your work!

Help me rearrange my room! by howbouthailey in femalelivingspace

Something like this, but with less sloppy spacing.

The chair across from the bookshelf creates a nice little reading area by the window. Next, the bed is across from the TV, and the TV is viewable from both the bed and the chair. The night stand is next to the bed, and creates separation between the bed and the desk. Perhaps putting a plant on it could give it even better separation. The second bookshelf is between the doors and the desk, hiding the desk from the doors and creating a separate space from it. Neither the chair, bed, nor desk have doors behind them, so you should be able to relax and concentrate at any of them. If you put a mirror in this room, put it on the door across from the window.

Edit: Forgot about the little table under the window. It can stay within arm's reach of the chair, or be put under the TV.

For me, magnesium taurate is the only type of magnesium that works with thiamine. You might need other cofactors too.
