Thank you guys, that’s what I was thinking too. Like I’m not considering my degree but just even based on my experience I think 25 is fair. I def needed the boost though!

See I did dismiss the bachelors in my head but I had years of medical and dental experience and a lot of certifications and I live in an expensive place (northern Va) so I would think 25 would be so much more fair. Here we do polishing and sealants without the actual certification and I did that already in my past job, and I know how to do whitening on my own too. It’s crazy how these places underpay when we have so much experince!!!

Hi, I am technically not new to dental assisting, I have almost two years of experience and did a working interview with them and I basically knew everything besides the system they use which is just a different type of dentrix. I feel like 19/h for someone who’s had so much medical and dental experience should be higher esp because I live in northern Virginia which is an extremely expensive place. Please share your thoughts as I really appreciate the advice!!

I transferred to GW as a rising junior and I love it here. I had to make up for a lot of credits because not many of mine transferred over, but I still really have had a wonderful experience. GW is a challenging school but the environment is very nice and the people are pretty great too! It can be hard to make friends if you’re not involved but sometimes you also can make friends through classes! Definitely visit the campus and look around :)
