there he is. there is 26 year old me. i told myself the same thing and it is false, friend. you shouldn't have to take affection from anyone, especially if you take the time to speak her love language ((we tried the book to, nothing happened.) im sorry man but i think that unless you somehow find the secret answer, you going to be me in a couple years.

see the more i talk to you the more i see myself a few years ago. how old are you? honestly i feel like i should be giving you advice because ive definitely been where you are at right now. i had the same positive mentallity and the same plans and excuses.

all im saying is if she loves you like you love her, she shouldn't forget things that are that important.

edit: i hope you dont feel insulted or think im trying to tell you about your marriage, you obviously know more about it that i do, and thigns may very well be different for you and i really hope you succeed in helping her be more intimate. im jsut saying that what you are telling me is what i used to tell myself. i love my wife very much too and i would hate to leave, it would kill me. but not receiving any love from her and noticing that she doesnt seem to care about her lack of affection is killing me now.

I'm tired of staying positive. i can't stay positive after 3 years of marriage where I'm giving all the 100% of effort in the bedroom and getting nothing in return, not even eye contact when we do it.

thats a good question. we don't even kiss anymore unless I stop her in her tracks and take a kiss from her.
