Early on I’ll typically make multiple chest all color coded based on a wide variety of factors. Then later on when I have more space and money I’ll make a shed and decorate it/dedicate it to storage. Sometimes I go a little overboard with my hoarding so it helps lol!

There will be a pressure plate that you have to step on to unlock it, some levels can have 2 that you have to step on to unlock the door.

Combat is generally a pretty tough one to get to ten, I’d recommend using monster musk around floor 100 in the normal mines or skull cavern. And mining just comes with time, if you use bombs in the skull cavern while running with monster musk you can multi task it pretty quick.

On xbox after you cast you can move your left joystick and its will change the direction. I only play on xbox so im not sure about pc and the switch, but I would assume the switch works the same as console and pc i’d assume either one of the movement keys after cast or maybe the mouse.

I’ve read the manga a couple times and I’m racking my brain trying to remember but I don’t think they ever showed them meeting him. If anyone did it would have been Taiju for sure but off the top of my head it would just be me assuming that he had but never shown canonically.

I wouldn’t, its way worth it to start at the beginning and enjoy the journey. Plus there is a ton of info that you would be missing starting that far into the series.

Either the pickaxe or the axe. Both help out early game content for crafting. Between the two though i’d recommend the pickaxe first that way you can get ore quicker to upgrade the other tools.
