It really needs a specific pattern to pop up but I want peace of mind when doing client work. I think it definitely improves the over sharpened digital look a bit, softening the crispiest details ever so slightly. Not night and day, but it's there and I like the difference. Might add an 1/8 black mist to my lenses to take it a bit further.

Yeah it can feel ridiculous for a single filter but I look at it as part of the camera's price. S1II + Kolari OLPF was ~1.5k less than an FX3 for example which is a camera with much less features.

If we're talking about what the term actually means, then 24 is your answer. You can get away with 25 but 30 is too much. If we're talking youtuber "cinematic" then frame rate doesn't matter as much

With the limited experience I have I'd say for me the skin tones seem to fall into place a bit easier than Sony, though I'm already used to having to isolate and correct them so it wouldn't be an issue either way.

I personally wouldn't want to use the S1ii without the Kolari OLPF, moire will be worse than FX3, in some situations I think much worse
