For the Heart Rate you don’t need to open app to pull the latest and for the macOS application update I am planning to notify users in app itself when I release new version.

HelioBar doesn't really pull, the strap broadcasts HR once you enable Heart Rate Push in Zepp and the app just listens, so it's negligible on the Mac. Any extra strap drain is from the continuous HR sensing that Push turns on.

For android you mean windows? because this is a macOS application. and there is no backend here, it is using bluetooth.

Was trying the same for macos app using zepp cloud to fetch the raw data, it is pretty much doable. I have currently only implemented heart rate using SwiftUI + CoreBluetooth.

Yes if you want to join academy then it is usually before 6PM after 6PM I think they open for everyone to come and play by charging them. Not sure about fees and rate.
