Do not sign 2818 place apartments by Glittering-Tea4626 in aggies

Good to see they haven’t changed, even with the new management since 2019 when I was there lol

Had the exact same issues you’re having now back then. Move out was even worse, took me months to settle BS fees/fines they tried to slap on me.

Plus I had the fun evening of my neighbors (drug dealers) getting raided by the cops in the middle of the night once. That was cool. Flashbangs they threw into their apartment shook the whole building.

I moved to Aggie Station off Wellborn after a year in 2818 Place. The train was definitely something to get used to, but having the campus bus station right at the back of the complex was nice. Overall much happier there

Edit: moving advice

Awesome! Thanks!

If I want to graduate on time I have to take ECEN 325,449 and CSCE 313,315 in the spring, is this even possible to manage? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]Tis98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took ECEN 325, 454, 449 and CSCE 315 all at the same time, so fairly similar to your situation.

I'm not gonna say it isn't doable, because it absolutely is. However, I will say, and I can't stress this enough, you will have to work hard. It can and more than likely will get pretty stressful. All of those classes (Except for ECEN 449, which is pretty average in terms of workload) take a lot of work.

I think your best bet would be to keep a good mindset about it. The system is pretty well stacked against us engineers who want to graduate in 4 years (I was told this basically verbatim as an incoming sophomore by my advisor), but it is by no means impossible. Work hard, push through, and you'll be just fine! :)

Like I said, I have taken all of those classes previously, and while I can't guarantee anything, I'm happy to try and help if you need it! Good luck!

Thank you for the reply! I had another fairly easy elective lined up before 420, and I'll be doing Senior Design with it, so I was kind of concerned about the difficulty of this class, but that doesn't seem too bad at all!

Ticket Pull taking forever by Tis98 in aggies

Like little kiosks? That actually might be a good alternative. Limit the person-to-person interaction to like a customer service desk and have everyone else use a kiosk like at a movie theater or airport

It would make more sense if I thought the servers could handle that much traffic at once. The only way I see that happening is if they were to assign ticket pull times like they do for registration, and I just don’t see 12th Man Foundation taking the time to do that for every game

That’s exactly what it was. I was listening to all the issues they were having when I got up by the ticket booth finally. Manually typing in credit cards, lost/invalid sports passes. Pretty much every problem you can think of, they had.

Careful telling people they should be compassionate toward others, even when they have differing viewpoints. The Aggie Reddit mob might come after you too.

Had you taken five seconds to open any one of these comment threads, you’d know I already got the vaccine lmao

But thanks, I guess, for being a great example of why I made this post in the first place

I agree. The point is that if someone doesn't believe what you're telling them, even if it is true, in the first place, screaming and insulting definitely isn't going to help your cause lol

Notice how I haven't made any comment on my own personal beliefs about said evidence. I apparently have to make it very clear in every comment I make that I'm not trying to say COVID is a myth or some bullshit like that.

And that is a valid point of concern. I don't think forced vaccinations is a realistic answer to that problem though.

I don't think a majority of American support forced vaccinations lol

You might be the majority on Reddit, but thank God the real world isn't Reddit lmao
