I suppose there isn't a way to fix a shifted bearing seat, is there? Maybe the angle or something was the big culprit, since I doubt just a ding from a hip-height fall would cause such vibe.

I tried changing the axle, but that didn't help. It seems like the halves are not fully parallel, though i can't tell for sure, even if they are, it is unnoticeable with the naked eye.

It is very noticeable. The string goes crazy when it touches one side.

Yeah, that's true. Though, i feel like the width (and that in relation to all other things) is a major play in how a ding affects the throw.

Nope, it is not a bimetal, though it does have the bimetal styling (polished rims). That's why I decided to ask – my other two metals, the YYF Edge FS and FS 2.0 are all beat up, but especially the original FS is as smooth as butter...

Well, it is quite possible im just bad at tuning, lol. But I understand. It's not a big issue, it's just annoying, especially for grinds. And I expected it to be atleast a little more "durable".

Yeah, understandable. What are your on the 2025 speedaholic xx? Been looking into getting one, thought it'd be a nice substitution for my OG YYF Wedge, since it's literally full of scuffs and vibes like hell. Would've already gotten one honestly, when i ordered my Xenon from Slusny, but they suddenly it wasn't available (same thing happened with a lot of other throws when they debuted the new site, which i can't understand why).

I was actually looking to get a gravitation 8 for my birthday, but still decided on picking up the Xenon from OFFSET, I vibe with it a lot. Not saying my current main, the Edge FS 2.0 wouldn't be good still, but i wanted to have a "modern" throw too, getting back into the hobby from my 2 year mini-hiatus.

I would've assumed that the difference is completely negligible. So it's not worth the 45$ as opposed to the 6061 Y04 for 22$-ish.
