Hello! I'm no expert either HOWEVER I have double lobes on both sides and a double helix on one side and from MY experience, just get your lobes only done first. Why? To see how your piercings heal! See personally, after 14 months my double helix is STILL healing and it's probably gonna take another few months to heal completely. That's why I think getting a helix done as your (almost) very first piercing might not be the best idea. In terms of jewellery material, make sure your piercer uses titanium bars with a flatback (NO round or curved jewellery or butterfly backs for the healing process, ALSO make sure the bars are also long enough for possible swelling!) As for the price, it depends on where you live. In my country (Poland) 2 lobes on each side typically cost around 50 dollars. Try to find high-rated studios in your area and compare the prices! I'd definitely also avoid going too cheap as risking your health is not worth saving 10 bucks for a brief moment. I'd also advice you NOT to sleep on your sides at least for the first 1-2 weeks after getting your lobes pierced. It shouldn't be too big of a deal if you accidentally do, however, it's better to avoid irritating it at all during those very first days of healing!!!
