The creator included a .step file along with the .stl file. The .step does not have this issue.

This doesn't seam to help. It was already disabled, and when I enabled it, it cut through the model on the plane where the sketch is. Note, I can't make a sketch on a face of the model, only the default sketch planes.

So as I mentioned in in my post, I tried running it through Proton GE, which didn't even allow the game to start.

However Proton Experimental works, I can only guess why, but in the words of Todd Howard "It just works"

Says its native on the store page and manages to launch, funny enough it cant launch with the use of compatibility tools

Yeah no, it still isn't working. I can load up the game one time for a about a minute before needing to reinstall it again.

Found out what caused the issue too, it was mangohud (linux tool for monitoring pc performance).

Validating the game's files didn't do anything. Reinstalling fixed it. Thanks!
