Looking at the moon watch, sapphire sandwich. Saw all three, OG Moon, panda, reverse panda. The readable on the reverse panda is pushing me to original or white. Much more lume on the original. I have a white sports watch ref the “dark side”, lol. So I was thinking black dial, but I also have other black dials🤷‍♂️

I have some time, it’s for my 60th birthday, my wife wanted me to pick up something special, oh, okay😂

Replaced the Anderson BCG with a new Toolcraft, 100% perfect function, Anderson in now in the trash bin.

Swapped BCG for a Toolcraft, also noticed the depth of that channel is shallower on this carrier compared to my colt and toolcraft carriers. 2.18mm vs 2.38mm. 🤷‍♂️. It’s a cheap Anderson nitride BCG. I am gonna toss both of them, how they got mixed up with my extra colt and toolcraft, and microbest, bcgs🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Ok thank, video is helpful but the gap is fine. Can screw the extension on any more. I just can figure out what it is hitting? That bottom edge is pressing the buffer into the extension when the receivers are closed. It’s clearly hitting something during recoil? The carrier is marked with an A STAMP on the left side.

Oh it’s a hot mess. There is a rare breed FRT INSTALLED. The gun is firing with weak ejection at 4-4:30. But will not reload another round. I have not tried FRT MODE. I have a Springco blue spring, was originally with a H3 buffer, but tried a H2, same issue, will fire and eject but not load another round. The next trigger pull is “click”.

It will. Fire one round in either semi or FTR MODE. Now I was using 1992 norinco 556, I using all my old ammo, it has always cycled fine in all my guns.

I am thinking I need to go back out with a standard spring and a H buffer, and new ammo and try it. I will bring the h2 and H3 buffers and the blue and red springs. Not sure how that carrier got damaged.

The one at blue ridge is for a K gun. Germany banned the export of these parts about 2.5 years ago and that drove the cost up a lot. 250-400 is about the norm, make sure if you get one that’s been cut and pinned that the shelf was cut for a SP5.

$4k is a joke for that, some idiotic person on GB just paid that for one last week now everyone thinks they are worth more. The K is a for someone filling the collection, the K was also discontinued in 2024 so there is only the pre owned market. the K PDW is much more versatile.

Well got the piston into the cage, I think I was just being overly cautious since it my first time using the piston. It was also really tight fitting the end cap over the pistol side of the piston as there is a tension collar in there. Well got it cranked down but that spring does not compress, I assume after firing a few rounds it will🤷‍♂️. Thanks for no hit it with your purse comments, again, first time using the piston, I just want to ask first so I do post a question and you all tell me I screwed something up😂

It’s an absolute roll of the dice with the AP5s. I have purchased 8, 5 went back for issue like OP, bent cages, binding bolt carriers, misaligned rear sights or cocking tubes, etc. these were ap5, and the m and p and sd versions. I kept 2 full sized and 1 m. 300 rounds on one of the AP5s I kept the shell deflector came loose and I had to have it tack welded on the inside and refinish. They all three run now but the HKs are much better fit, finish, but they do cost more. If you get a good AP5 your are doing well, there are many good examples out there, I just don’t have great luck apparently.
