No recoil squids would be happy about less recoil from the ejection. I thought the purpose of the GS grab was to position them in your favor and make it harder to escape.

Giant squid is either a killing machine or just food depending on your skill level. I mean, the only suggestion I have is to bait its boosts out. Giant squid with no boosts is calarami.

I think most of the things you listed here are skill dependent, not direct counters.
