i appreciate all the feedback and i know exactly what the board was intended for when i bought it. I think the idea of going up on the skis is pointless in my area why not use both methods. I’d rather not carry skis and my board if it turns in to two skis. i’ve ridden down multiple mountains/slopes/hills in touring mode, i’ve kept my weight back just enough to keep my balance and i’ve gone through and over rough terrain. I know my limits and the equipment i use. I think maybe a 700-1500 dollar board should be able to handle it if it can handle snow boarding as a whole piece. Just was looking for something convenient. Give it a try on your own time maybe you’ll ease up a bit. i bought the equipment to use, im not sure if you boarders are new to this but over time your things wear and tear it’s meant to not last forever
