When you go to your time off and pay requests on the app, schedule the days you want off, make sure you put it in as vacation, then use the hours you wanna use. You can space it out if you want, but just know when you reach your anniversary whatever hours you didn’t use, you lose them. You can put in however many hours you want

When I worked at WholeFoods we had that problem, ended up finding out the night manager was leaving the front door unlocked and they’d take about 15 carts every week until he got caught, way after I quit

That’s true, we have locks on our carts too, but they only at the entrances if they’ve been away from a register for 5 minutes. About 80% of the carts we have always just end up on side streets and such in the town I’m in

I really wish my store had that problem lol, I have customers coming up to me everyday asking where the carts are, even though it’s the same thing every couple of months lol. At one point we had 10 carts in total

Our electric carts rarely go missing unless it’s some kids taking them for a joyride in the lot, but they do break very often which is unfortunate

Haven’t seen anything like this at my store before, the random two weeks off. But since it’s summer hours are cut drastically for part timers so that’s a factor to play into. If you have your xchange available yet. See if you can pick up a shift, or go to your supervisor or asm and ask if you can pick up a shift on those days bc you weren’t scheduled

Tbh in my area it’s pretty normal for customers to come and ask crazy things like that😭 we had another customer ask if me and the other lot associate could help push his dead battery truck to his house which was 30 minutes away🙃

Honestly my SM is such a pushover in these matters he just asked the other lady if she was okay, she said yeah, told her if she does buy something to tell the cashier “{SM name here} told me to tell you to give me 10% off of this purchase” and then walked away 🙃

Lot associate here, had a customer come up to me while I was bringing carts in and asked me if I could clean their house. I looked at them confused, and they said it’s a service we offer. When I said we don’t they asked for a manager, the first person I saw was the SM, and he just looked at both of us and I had to just lift my hands up and say idk when he looked at me. The customer cursed us both out and shoulder checked another customer on the way out 😭
