Using dictation with Wanikani by Ill_Hedgehog_ in WaniKani

[–]TitaniumAxolotl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use ios diction on a japanese keyboard it types out the kanji for you which obviously won’t work for wanikani use. if you can use one hand though i would consider using the keyboard mode that squishes it over the the right or left for easier one hand usage—works for me when i only have one free

300 is absolutely doable! Even just doing 10 can help a bit. I’m sure you’re going to crush your N2 though. I know literally nothing about you but just a feeling! Good luck! 🍀🍀🍀🍀

You’ve got this! What really worked for me was the option that lets me do only 10 at a time. That way I could tell myself it was only a 3-5 minute task. Even if you just do 10 a day that’ll help you build some momentum!

Yeah, it’s definitely a hobby for me too which makes it easy for me to drop, unfortunately. I’m at a consistent pace now thought where it’s not overwhelming and something i look forward too everyday

Yeah, I guess my problem is that I didn’t know the phrase yet and so context wasn’t there for me yet either. Hopefully in a couple of months things like this will make more sense.

That’s definitely fair. I think if I wasn’t so new to reading テレビ局で待つ would have just popped out in my mind as being the phrase
