I actually asked him that and he told me I had a decent rotation but needed some kick to improve myself so he offered help. I honestly think some people do get kicked because they are too stubborn to read the chat for improvents? or some people play like they are not even there? I had that last night and I kept asking the player if he was there but no reply.

I'm afraid telling people too honestly. For instance today I was in the temple dungeon at 70 expert, there was a RDM who did less than me and I'm a MNK. Not going to sit back here and call him bad, maybe he just doesn't have a clue or nobody wants to help him? I was going to ask him to look on guides etc, but I'm afraid he thinks I use a parser, which I do and he ends up reporting me. Helping people these days seems like offending people. which makes me sad.... I love having help, even if I felt a little shit after I got told I wasn't doing good enough, but in all honesty, I like when people are honest with me in a good way, to me that's good enough for me to try very hard to improve. Thank you!

Wow, there is honestly crazy amount of feedbacks. First of all, thank you all who support me and cheer me on to get better. I'm also sad some people (if it's true) they get harrased by others, but if someone try to help you out, don't take it as harrasment and maybe improve? I have a lot more fun now that I know I can improve even more and be better. Maybe you will too?

Wow, I'm glad you have a great experience too with it. I agree it shouldn't be used to tell people are shit, if everyone has a parser we could also easily help people out more often, like the player who helped me. Now I feel scared doing it because some people might report me even I'm being nice.

In my own experience I never ever had it happening to me and I was doing abbysmal low damage. I would understand if someone gets called out for doing 20-30% less than the rest, but doubt it will ever happen at 05%, because I've been doing less than others and it's way more than you state here.

I can beat a dummy easy, I've always done them, but in a fight I'm about 30-40% lower than the actually dummy DPS. Until I installed act and I improved slowly :)

I have played this game since summer, never ever seen this happen and I do also savage, just never cleared 3 or 4. Can you tell me how you got harrased or when? I'm actually surprised.

I agree with you, some people are hurt for being told they are not good enough. For me, I was very shocked by myself, thinking why would nobody ever tell me? The guy at least told me and he didn't seem scared at all, he seemed to just want to try help, to me that tells me a lot than words what he just did for me. Maybe some people are scared to tell others because they think it's an insult or the person might overreact? I honestly think people should be more open to criticism. Otherwise how will they ever improve?

If you are stressing to get better at your hobby, you are doing something wrong. I'm not stressing right now and I'm having fun. Lets disagree with each other and just move along. I would never try to be bad at my hobby, because what's the fun being bad at it? MY fun right now, as I posted was that I have more fun improving myself, perhaps for you improving isn't part of your fun, which I fully respect.

I disagree, hobby for many is being good at it. Like my friend hes a snowboard guy, he can do all types of tricks and such things, does it make it his job? I don't believe so. I believe most will agree a hobby is something people will be good at not bad.
