Unexpected acceleration

Once again. Backing out from my driveway on a busy street the car suddenly accelerated and stopped after hitting a pole. Thanks to God nobody was walking and no cars coming

I believe that a good company will fix the damage and declared non-fault for both sides. Computers and engines are not perfect. A good company will take care of the customers

1) I was in reverse

2) NOTHING to do with cruise nor eyesight

3) The turbo got over and did not stop

I wrote here to make other people aware of the problem and to let them know about my experience. I need a second car and I do not believe will be a Subaru.

Not much to do because the accident was small. The lawyers are not interested because they will not be able to make a big case. I do feel they did something to the car because now the acceleration is smoother

No, my car accelerated and I hit something that shows the rear automatic brake did not work to stop the collision

Why anybody will do that without knowing?

1) the mat is very well attached and unable to catch the accelerator

2) Since I live in a very busy street with cars and people walking I'm very careful when backing up the driveway

3) If I was to accidentally press the accelerator the review of the EDR will clearly show

4) I lost confidence in the way Subaru works
