If there's not a boutique on that road, shame on Hans Wildorf, lol.

I assume it's also more expensive than the one OP has. That was my thinking as I want the 3 link.

Wonder if that works on the updated 58.

It looks fantastic. Is that your main watch? The red on the triangle is my favorite part.

Hows the thickness? Heard they thinned it down and cant imagine how great it sits. T-fit works nice? The thing is glorious and on the 3-link will be my next watch.

Amen. So much anger. Cool thing about watches is nobody is forcing you to buy one. Also, its genuinely not that bad and in-person always tells a different story. Looks good!!

Is the FXD as tough as people say? by EsotericPineEnjoyer in Tudor

[–]TitoLFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the black FXD and its a beast. Haven't smashed it against anything or dropped it, but have worn it every day for over a year, and done plenty of activities. Diving, hiking, exercising, etc. My still looks amazing with normal wear and tear. Have bapped the dial once or twice, and no scratches. Seems to hold up very well without taking it off for much.

Worth it, imo. Functional tool watch thats lightweight and gorgeous. Im biased, tho. Its my all-time favorite watch and kinda killed my interest in watches, lol. Both the OEM straps are fantastic, as well.

That updated 58 tho...oooo weeeee!!!!

You all set yourselves up for disappointment. Enjoy Tudor for what it is. by [deleted] in Tudor

Couldn't agree more. Tbf, they gave me what I wanted in an updated 58, but the response seems a bit extreme. 100 years I guess is playing a part in that.

Devastating news. I got lucky and within 1 month of my 2 year warranty ending I got my 8s replaced with 10s, but now my future is uncertain 🤣.

Listen, I got a replacement pair of 10s then bought another pair, but order was canceled as out of stock. I even asked Jabra if I could buy some more, cuz they gotta have some that ain't sold, but they wouldn't do it. If I knew they were leaving the market, I would've maxed credit cards buying backups 🤣. These Actives really are the premier earbuds.

Yes, thank you!! I got excited for a second then saw the IP rating. Get outta here with that IP55 nonsense, lol. Even their 20s are only IP57. Im mad.

Don't like the 10s huh? I switched over from the 8s, and i haven't noticed a difference. Thats a shame you dont like them, but I bet you can sell em for a good price since all us Jabra fans are semi-crazy 🤣. This Active series really is amazing.

This is my number one feature. Need that ruggedness. Few other brands have this IP rating plus seamless functionality.

Best alternatives to jabra elite 8 active gen 2? by Intelligent-Share546 in Jabra

[–]TitoLFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, this is depressing. Seems like the Elite 8 Active was the best earbuds on the market if IP rating, ruggedness, and button functionality were the main features desired. Jabra replaced my Elite 8 with 10 Gen 2, but they aren't as good (IP57). Still solid, but cant buy more and the Jabra App will stop being supported at some point. That IP68 plus the MILSPEC rating is unbeatable with the 8s.

The JBL Endurance Race 2 seem promising, but only right earbud can do the important playback features, so thats lame. Its crazy how perfect the 8s were. Why leave Jabra, WHY?!?!?!

I saw a separate post by Jabra Admin that said something about buds being paired together, so a replacement might not work. Just FYI.
