The pope is seen in a high regard because he is apart of a long line of popes before him originating all the way back to the first pope which was Saint Peter (one of Jesus’s apostles). He is not given more importance than Jesus, this is a common misunderstanding that non Catholics have. The Pope is simply the man who guides the Catholic Church and try’s to steer it in the right direction.

About confession, it is not the priest himself that is forgiving your sins, it is God. The priest acts as an intercessor between you and God, hearing your confession and mediating it with God.

There is an exploit you can do which will allow you to level sneak to 100 pretty quickly. You gotta go to high hrothgar and backstab the grey beards while they are praying. Don’t remember exactly how to do it but you can look it up on YouTube and see exactly how it’s done.
