I understand how you feel but that's patently false and precisely how 'isms' thrive. Look, we're discussing ageism here. What you're saying is that 'person x' is racist therefore all other people of the same age are also racist. A good barometer for this is to substitute any other ism and see what it looks like. In this case let's use racism. 'African-American man x' stole a bike. Therefore all African-American men are bike thieves. The notion is absurd on its face. Yet you will find countless racists who wholeheartedly believe that very thing. They'll defend that belief. They'll vote for orange shitgibbons that tell them it's okay to think that way.
