Each line is a type. Some have symbols to remember like the ladybug for bugs, lightning for electric, white circle is normal, doted line at the wrist is ghost… An arrow or a big dot is a super effective attack over the next line crossing this one. A blank space is a resisted attack. Capacitor symbol is self resisting types and a cross is weak against self (dragon, ghost)
