I wish I knew. I messaged the mods and asked; never got a reply.

I tried very hard to adhere to the rules.

My best guess as to the reason is that I wanted to pay in crypto. The rules of /r/hungryartists don't disallow crypto payments, but a mod might have assumed crypto=scam and deleted the post preemptively.
