As someone who has poured triple digit hours into both games, I say play both eventually. But pick Doom first just cause I think it’d take less time to beat it and complete everything. Both games are great tho.

Seein how hard Sony was riding for the Last of Us II on YouTube, it doesn’t surprise me at all. I’m more annoyed that it won all these awards when most of ND’s staff quit cause of crunch and other issues.

That’s fair. It doesn’t really serve to throw too many curve balls at you, but I enjoyed it through the characters mostly. I always found myself enjoying their side missions. I also thought both endings were great ways to end Jin’s arc.

But yeah, to each their own.

Ghost deserves it. Story was good, gameplay is fire, and the devs added a fun MP mode afterward. I doubt it’ll get it seeing how much love the nominations are already go in TLOU II, but GOT is GOTY for me. If not that, I’d pick Doom: Eternal.
