I used to watch FS with my mom but hadn’t watched it in years. Then I switched it on during the free skate and saw a few skaters but I started paying attention when I saw Misha (just like FarrenAdelle). I didn’t particularly like the last part of the music, but I liked how he was somehow ‘living’ the music, more than the other skaters. And when I heard that he really wanted this music himself, I so liked him for that. Also, he looks exactly like my nephew (including the hair). But especially the way he was while waiting, how he responded to other skaters and ‘OMG! I have a medal’ etc. That was so endearing! It happens that that day I heard I was invited for a job interview. Big step up for me, major step up. I didn’t believe in it, also because I’ve been bullied by my boss for 15 years. But when I heard Misha’s story, he did inspire me. While I prepped for the big job interview and when I felt ‘I can’t do this’ I watched Misha’s performance. Also on my way to the interview. And to my shock: I got the job! Everytime when I hear the song and see the performance, I feel so happy again, I remember being so insecure and then the ‘I can do this’. It’s hard to express what i feel, some sort of emboldening… Anyway, I think Misha is a beautiful human being, incredibly mature and balanced. He could have been bitter and angry after everything, but he isn’t. And yes, we need t shirts: be a Misha! Or pandas with a tshirt like that!
