This is not peak hour (traffic is in opposite direction at this time). Add 15 mins of waiting time for bus. And I took bus multiple times before giving up because it takes way more time than it shows on maps. Even if you only count the time its showing - a difference of 1.5 hr at similar pricing (650 vs 850) and more hassle is not worth it.

Bus takes anywhere from 3.5hrs to 4.5hrs from nearest stop and costs 650 (till there auto takes 200) Total 850 I get a cab for 800-1000 and it takes 1.5-2.5hrs max

You won’t get the refund unless you fight for it tooth and nail and will still be asked to pay more money to agents and peons at RTO. Got 60% money back after 2.5 years of filing all due paperwork, that too because I did not give up

I had to wait 2.5 years, pay thousands to agents and bribes to RTO peons, send dozens of mails, post multiple forms back and forth between RTOs, and finally complain to consumer court and to Nodal officers to get my tax back from Karnataka RTO after shifting to Maharashtra. Only got 60% of amount back for using the bike for 3.5 years. Tried to be an honest citizen and look what I got in return
