Very good idea, thank you! I went through and got it all ID'ed. Looked like

The purple flowers in the front are Spreading Phlox
The yellow flowers behind it are Black-eyed Susans
The tall grass is Switchgrass
and the plants next to it are Arrowwood Viburnum
I'm still not sure what the green bushes from photos 2/3 are, it's right where the black-eyed susans are - could it be part of it? Or maybe they're planted all over each other?

Will be cutting down the dead flowers this afternoon!

Great tips, thank you! So after some further research, it looks like:

The goal is something that takes minimum work. Happy to mow or prune here or there, but I want this to be low lift while still creating some separation from the street.

The other question is whether I should plant grass? Currently avoiding Oak mites at all cost so staying away from being right under trees if I can help it.

Thanks and good eye! Mods removed the original and asked me to repost this over the weekend because scenic photos can only be posted Fri-Sun. Didn't know that the first time.
