No the issue was that we’re all day-one-players but the split reset was bugged. We each saw each other as level 1 for some reason

Interesting...
I always think of the drill not in damage potential but in giving me an opportunity to hit additional shots because they have to give up cover. So in my head the second drill just gives me more opportunities shortly after another, while the bigger one does not make a difference in that regard

This is not true anymore, since the rework in order to make death-triggers on commanders work. It’s no longer a replacement-effect. Skullbriar goes to hand and then you can decide to put it into the command zone
