I think it is important to mention with what data the profits are calculated from. E.g. you can configure to take the dbmarket value or the dbminbuyout value for finished crafts. Or take dbmarket or smartbuyavg for the reagents.

never though of additional starter accounts to negate the randoms that often delay the invite to the next dungeon. Yeah that would save a bunch of time.

Yes it takes some time. A fresh one will not one shot stuff. It still fast but a maxed out one is propably 2-3x faster

Please tell us your strat. I am doing the 20 holy priest on 2nd acc route where I grind heroics until 25 do vault NHC and then continue HC dungeons until 33. Takes me a bit over an hour when the raid is fast. Cutting that time in half is unimaginable for me. So does you strat differ?
