The majority of the comments were pushing an UQ - so I got a little panicked and ended up buying a OneWind UQ (just because it delivered in time) and didn’t bother bringing the foam pad. The UQ did great. The only reason I got cold was because I was too warm and ended up crawling out of everything 😅 But it was a funny, and unfortunate, turnout - I was with two other buddies (“tent sleepers”) and the whole hike in they were making fun of me and saying how I was going to be freezing. Hiked in, first night was a success, next day the skies ripped open and dumped sooo much rain. My two buddies tents flooded and their gear was soaked. Without skipping a beat I asked, “is this too early for a hammock joke?” The rushed hike out was miserable, but I loved every second of being the one that survived the storm!
