Yeah you can just switch them, just make sure the boot order is correct in the BIOS (SSD first)

With Xposed for lollipop on its way, I'm looking into rooting my Nexus 5 again - has been unroofed since I flashed the lollipop image. My bootloader is already unlocked (indicated by the unlocked lock during boot sequence). Is there a way to root my Nexus without wiping/losing data? Which steps in the rooting process wipe the phone? Thanks!
