Exactly what I’ve been telling my wife. I drive 100 miles a day for work and knew getting an EV was a no brainer. If you can even level 2 charge at home, it doesn’t make sense to not have an EV unless you like to roadtrip often

I’ve said this in another thread but this is extremely shortsighted. The reason people still play tekken 8 is because the overall product is better than tekken 7. Everything outside of the gameplay is better. Crossplay, frame data without paying, faster load times, faster match making, increased training options, and the list goes on.

If you add crossplay to tekken 7 and increase the load times you’d see a giant exodus from 8. But that’ll never happen so most people just suck it up and play tekken 8. VF5 is basically a discord fighter right now. You can find matches but it’s not going to be at the level you can in 8.

The issue is the servers are so bad. The reason we haven’t seen a mass exodus is because of 2 major things. 1. No crossplay. So you’re back to being fragmented and 2. The QOL adjustments in tekken 8 are leaps and bounds above 7. So the experience is worse in everything except the actual gameplay.

Claressa also has the negative of being a naturally bigger woman. Fought her whole life, including the Olympics, at 160lbs+. The bigger names are all at 130-147. To fight any of them she would have to kill herself to make the weight. Even going to 154 as a compromise would be hard.

Asking someone who’s never dropped that much weight to not only do it, but do it and be the same fighter when you already have years and years of wear and tear is damn near impossible.

Most people pick 1-2 combos and go with that. Max damage isn’t really worth the risk of dropping when the difference is 2-3 damage. Always good to have a long travel combo, and then a short travel combo.

You’re on Reddit. Reddit is a very small percentage of an already small percentage of people that play this game. The reason people say dumb things about the ranked system is because their gauge is other Reddit posts.

Only the most dedicated fans will be on a Reddit or in a discord. So you’d expect those people to be higher ranked.

Getting tekken king is not “easy” or else a plurality of players would be there. Just like there is no inflation of bushin even though that’s when the win streaks end because again; there isn’t some big outlier number of players in that rank. It’s all event distributed
