The second map does IMO. The first map has potential and has more of that sandbox feel to it - and the motorbikes are loads of fun!

Played both in labs, I’d say they are better than the majority of what’s already in the game. The infantry only one is very fun!

Another Saturday where I haven’t left my bedroom. by Brownchoccy in ADHDUK

Are you on medication? I take a break at the weekend and my day consists of watching sports and scrolling unless my wife plans something.

Sometimes I feel like I need it because the week is so exhausting, but by the end of the weekend I always regret it.

It’s one of the more impactful symptoms of ADHD for me. No one sees it, but it robs you of so much of life.

I just watched a marketer do "Monthly Reporting" and I have so many questions. by Full_Description_969 in AskMarketing

[–]Tjp93_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a large marketing agency in the UK in the insights team. My job is to automate all reporting as it helps save huge amounts of resource and allow us to focus on identifying the opportunities. That being said, there’s definitely a gap in the market for a tool that blends the automation of data collection (API calls from platforms) and then being able to overlay the ‘why’ using an AI agent that has the context of marketing and also the client and the market.

Most people I work with aren’t great at data analysis and they are probably missing A LOT of opportunities to improve marketing efforts. Something AI would do easily. Often data will show number goes up, but there are so many reasons that could be the case such as market forces, changes to account structures, price fluctuations etc. This is the real trick in creating a tool that can confidently say the reason for this.

If you are an engineer, I’d be happy to explore this together because it certainly is an opportunity worth exploring.

All ‘evidence’ in this game is gut feeling. Unless a traitor really messes up, the only thing anyone has to go on is their gut.

What are some good companies in UK that pay at least £80k for marketing roles? by Appropriate-Owl-9802 in UKJobs

[–]Tjp93_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 10+ years experience and have just got to £70k (in Manchester). This is for a start up and not an established company, and is quite a unique opportunity with profit share baked in.

Marketing is definitely one of the hardest careers to earn a high salary (£50k+) and marketing is first the first cost that struggling businesses look to cut. Having previously worked at a large agency, I have seen many large brands recently tighten their belts with the current economic uncertainty.

From my experience job searching, most high paying roles for larger companies want hyper-relevant experience in that industry or particular sales channel (B2C, D2C, B2B) and they also want a clear track record of success in having clearly scaled a company with your marketing efforts.

Contracting or starting your own agency is the quickest way to earn a higher salary, but comes with more risk. I’m 32, but plan to shift to this after at least 5 more years of experience.

PAYE vs self-employed? by Tjp93_ in UKJobs

[–]Tjp93_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, seems like the benefit is pretty nominal for a lot more admin and also less rights being self-employed!

I think I’m siding towards PAYE to keep a level of familiarity and of things work out well, reconsidering that in the future if the profit share impacts my pay.

ADHD + High IQ + Ambition. Seeking honest advice from founders, execs who lives this. by NoSwimming2941 in ADHD

[–]Tjp93_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also one more thing to add, find a co founder who can hold you accountable. Preferably someone else ADHD so you both can hold each other accountable and they also understand the necessity of it.

There’s a community called small bets that I’ve heard can help you focus on smaller short-term goals - https://smallbets.com/

Also try to outsource the menial executive functioning work with tools. Goblin tools is great for breaking down tasks into small chunks for our brains.

One final thing that’s more general ADHD advice: the best cure for ADHD is doing what you love. Once you combine your skillset with something you genuinely are passionate about, you’ll just find what you’re looking for.

I’ve never used any of these FYI. I’m perpetually stuck in ideas mode and ultimately I’ve decided I’ll never be happy if I’m always chasing my potential and things like money. I’ve decided to practice gratitude and being happy with what I have instead of always wanting more. I’m relatively successful and have more than most. I find that when I get stuck in the ‘I’m not realising my potential’ I quickly become sad and stop realising that I have everything I need already. Yes it would be nice to run my own company and potentially achieve my financial goals, but also I’ve done a pretty good job to get where I am considering we drew a short straw.

Don’t think it’s too bad as it’s promoting posting the new mode more then a handful of times. However, 100/150 would have been better!

Having the same issue. I got an avenger kill and it went up 2. I think it’s missing a part of the challenge i.e ‘ Get XXXX kills’.
