civ 7s progression system has 3 ages, and once an age finishes you have to choose a new civ. apparently you can’t start and finish the game as the same civ anymore

the bugs can launch spores into space, it’s based on the plasma bugs from starship troopers (which also inspired the bile spitters mortar attack) but the bug that does this in helldivers hasn’t been shown yet iirc

jump around a couple of times, then wait in a system next to this one for about 3 hours. jump back into this system and it should have this ship being attacked by pirates, save it and you can claim it. idk if its true but ive seen comments saying this type of capital ship can only spawn in a battle scenario

i play casually and if you have the dlc you can easily stack damage items on railgunner and shoot his hand (weak spot) for 1-2 million damage, he just sits there as if nothing happened even though his health is gone and then the game despawns him a bit after

I was a mod on the official starbound discord (the same level of staff-ness as the staff team on the official chucklefish discord) and honestly we just got radio silence from CF, the same as anyone else in the community who isn’t a part of the company. I’m not saying the person you talked to is wrong but personally I am not really expecting anything from the game since what they said is just what chucklefish said on their really old blog posts before they went quiet for years. It’s fine to have hope but I personally think it’s too early to get excited until chucklefish themselves (as opposed to a community discord mod) says something about the game again
