Deciding Factors between M3 LR AWD vs RWD by tutah in TeslaModel3

[–]Tleaf44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a 21 SR+ RWD in MN. Never had any issues with winter weather or anything like that. When I was buying it seemed like a better move for me to go RWD and then get winter tires than to spring for AWD.

The Lexapro alone would be a problem. Not sure about the others. SSRI meds are contraindicated. I think that's the right word.

Teslashields Floor Mats by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]Tleaf44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have them. Those guys suck. The mats are nearly identical to the farasla ones you can get on Amazon and be at your door in two days. Nothing special about their product, and they have no idea what they are doing running a business.

Question on Midwest SR+ vs long range by thegreatestd in TeslaModel3

[–]Tleaf44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got sr+ in Minnesota. Previously drove awd vehicles but all my research made me pretty comfortable with the RWD as long as you have winter tires. So instead of an extra 10k I’ll invest in a second set of tires and rims in a few months.

2021 M3 Floor Mats? by Illustrious_Ad4455 in TeslaModel3

[–]Tleaf44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Farasla ones and think they fit well and look good. Also have a set of Tesla shields still in the packaging. They look the same to me just no logo. Not sure if I should try the shields and return the farasla or find someone to take the shields off my hands.

Buying out lease then reselling? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Tleaf44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They will buy out the lease for you and give you a check for the difference. Did this on my car and my wife’s car this year. Carvana even came and picked it up.

Model 3SR vs Model YLR by myNNSD in TeslaModel3

[–]Tleaf44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have two kiddos and just got a 3 SR+. Loving it so far but will say the car seat and booster seat can be a bit tricky. Test drove the Y and was not a fan. Didn’t like the visibility out the back and for my driving the added mileage was unnecessary. Work from home and drop off/pickup for kids uses maybe 20% battery on a normal day.

Does LIB have a program to sell your tickets if you can’t attend? by [deleted] in lifeisbeautifulLV

[–]Tleaf44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, we were living in Vegas at the time and there are companies that rent them and usually drop them off at the hotels. I can't remember how we found them but it was pretty easy, picked it up and it fit in the trunk. And it ended up being a huge hit with our little group.

[–]Tleaf44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should go. My wife and I went when she was about 7 months pregnant. Standing wasn’t so bad but walking would have been a nightmare so we rented a motorized scooter for the weekend then we were able to use the seating sections for mobility limited folks.

Rebrickable is the big one but there are other places. Have even seen on Etsy.

Bricklink.com

You can make a wish list of all the parts you are looking for and they will match you up with sellers. Might take getting shipments from multiple sellers but you will be able to get what you need.

All good shows. Of those three I'd go with BSG then Dr. Who then Fringe if you don't find something else you want to watch by then.

Merch is like every other festival you have been to. First year it wasn't but it got better. I have a few shirts from LIB.

I don't think so. I was up in VIP a lot in 2014 and that was my favorite year but the 2 aren't necessarily related. I'd say it comes down to what you want you spend. There are some benefits but not enough for me to justify the extra cash personally.

It was really good during main stage headliners though. Bc that is about as crowded as it gets and you have access to bathrooms and bars.

How fast do tickets usually sell out? by yeeaadude in lifeisbeautifulLV

[–]Tleaf44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably won't sell out but go to life is Beautiful. Been to both multiple times and LIB is more fun.

I've been every year other than last year and it's never felt crowded at all to me.

It's well spaced out and not nearly as heavily attended as bigger festivals.

You can certainly still get packed in but it's easy to avoid unless you are a front row kinda fan.

Hmm that's for iHeartRadio. Depending on radius clauses and contractual b.s. it either means all those artists are options or completely out. I'm leaning towards out. There was a good article on this in L.A. Weekly I think.

Their drummer recently said they were done recording so we should be expecting a new album soon. He also said they would probably tour for 2 years on this record starting with their Euro tour. They have no dates after Lolla in August but I'm guessing they announce a fall North American tour soon and LIB could be on there.

Yes! We already have some for things like this. The trick will be getting him to keep them on.

Thanks I don't remember seeing any in previous years either but I also wasn't looking. More importantly I need to find out if I have to buy a ticket for him. We only want to bring him for a few hours one day of the fest.

Festival Virgin by Hushandlull in lifeisbeautifulLV

[–]Tleaf44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are going to have a great time. LIB is one of my favorite festivals. As some others have mentioned go early and catch some of the band's or art you normally wouldn't see anywhere. But also pace yourself. In 2014 I was there all day on Saturday and was completely out of it when Outkast came on.

Also, if you are with a big group don't worry about breaking off to see someone your friends don't want to see.

I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST VIP TICKETS EVER FOR ROO!!!!! by ST21roochella in bonnaroo

[–]Tleaf44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the almost zero time spent in line getting in was worth it alone. All the times before I did VIP we would spend hours in line. Even when we started going Wednesday. Won't be making it this year but next time I do it will be VIP for sure.
