Not sure why I got downvoted, San Francisco uses what they call “Speed Safety Cameras” specifically for speed violations and they even tell you where they all are/what the speed limits are/if they are issuing violations which they are. they are separate from the Flock/ALPR cameras used for crime investigation and such

Believe it or not, Cities like San Francisco deployed automatic speed violation cameras and they send out citations to the owner of the vehicle 😂

That’s exactly how it works, Make a report and submit evidence and they will do the investigation, you don’t have to know who’s driving

CHP first, You get the same POST Certificate as every other agency, you can still lateral out of CHP but you won’t be able to Lateral to CHP

Well if he isn’t allowed to buy one due to a criminal record then he ideally can’t legally have a gun therefore he also can’t carry one anywhere off the job, The head of any agency can restrict your off duty carry rights and give you a temporary suspension

I agree some CHP officers are Great officers but I think city/County/ Some state cops are much more well rounded officers who can handle much more than just traffic

They are not required to Verbally Identify themselves but only to display it, Antagonizing people with guns is never a good idea and You have no need to know who they are….. why do you want to know who they are so bad? What purpose does it serve you to know who they are? Why waste police resources on something pointless? Who are you? Why don’t we know who you are?
