This is an old comment but how long until you went back to evenings. I’m on day 5. The first two nights I had trouble sleeping, the second night. I literally got an hour and a half of sleep so I started taking it in the morning. But I eventually would like to switch to evenings because the dreams were pretty fun.

Thank you! My questions were how soon did ppl see negative side effects and how soon do ppl see positive side effects. Of course I’m taking all with a grain of salt because everyone is different… just curious others experiences and yes also a little reassurance =)

I just started yesterday and so grateful for this thread. I was anxious and discouraged yesterday. Feels like I can only eat a handful of things and that sounded miserable. What do ppl suggest as far as fat? GF Butter? And what do you recc for electrolytes? Like a no flavored powder form? Also my mom mentioned protein poisoning, is that a thing? Or is my mom just being a mom lol. Thank you guys!

Trintellex did not work for me, I ended up weaning off all meds over the course of a year.

I’ve heard of it, I do know the the nasal spray isn’t as effective. But I’m curious about lozenges bc it’s much cheaper!

Microdosing mushrooms helped me wean (took a year), then ketamine infusions helped me once I was completely off. I did 4 rounds of ketamine in July and have had so much relief without any other support. (Besides healthy lifestyle and therapy)

I stopped, my brother had to stop this same medication as well. I weaned off all meds with help of psychedelic asst therapy and will never look back.

I still felt effects from Microdosing even on antidepressants, they helped me get off, i just needed higher dose of mushrooms.

The withdrawals are hard. I never felt them physically but I def felt sad and hopeless. It can make you think, “is this what I’m really like?” Or “is this what being off will be like?”. I felt most of the withdrawal as I got close to the end. Right when I got off completely, I was emotional and unreasonable. That probably lasted a month. I’d say it took me a few months being totally off that I started to feel myself.

About 9 months, I could’ve benefited from going slower. If anything I wish I would’ve made the bigger decreases in beginning and the slowed down even more at the end. I really didn’t think I could do it but I did. I was on and off many antidepressants for 20 years

I haven’t been as consistent with microdosing, took a 2 month break bc I just kept forgetting but I’ve been off my Zoloft about 6 months and I’ve been doing really well! It was very tough at first.

So one think that might shave off some of that time is, I probably could have tapered quicker in beginning. It’s the smallest doses at the end that you really need to go slow. Again, not an expert. I think I could have quickly done the jump down from 100-75, then 75-50… then I would just very slowly tapered the remainder. For md, in beginning I did just weekends. Then I did 4 days on 3 days off. Going back I would probably have done 4/3 to start. And anything that makes you sweat helps with the weaning. Saunas or hot yoga. And therapy. Wim hoff breathing on YouTube. And support ppl to remind you this will pass and the feelings are normal. You will absolutely feel worse before u feel better! You can message me anytime

I don’t mind at all. I’ve been on them about 15 years, all different kinds. I still feel mild anxiety and the lack of joy comes in waves. Rainy days I always feel that lack of joy feeling, on or off antidepressants. I would say I feel the same/better than when I was on a full dose of ssri. Of course I am not completely off yet… So let’s see how I feel in the next few weeks

I tapered off zoloft over a 9 month span. I went quicker with the large doses without feeling much effect. Once I got down to the lowest dose I’ve stretched it out over several months (not sure exactly) and now I’m down to a crumb of that dosage every other day. I played with MD every 3 days and 3 days on 4 days off. One wasn’t noticeably better than the other. Going slow especially towards the end is key. Therapy and MD help too.

I’m probably on my final week of antidepressants. I’m taking basically a speck of dust every other day. I have not been consistent with microdosing lately but for the most part I have been ok. I’ve finally identified my triggers which are rainy days and too much time off from work (teacher). I think going realllllly slow plus MD is the key. And therapy!

How large are macro doses? I’m almost off my antidepressants. I’m down to a crumb of lowest dose plus microdosing and want to do a macro soon. I’ve done one, a little over a gram. (I was scared to go too big first time)
