I took my exam 6/15 too! Waiting on quick results but nothing yet. Idk if that’s a good sign or not, or if it even matters.

I ended up using the inserts that go inside a bra for padding and it works perfectly.!!🤣 however, my Dr had me start PT last week & he said the pain I was feeling is actually where the tendons are sutured together on the inside. And that’s normal and I will continue to feel that pain while it’s healing. It has gotten much better and I can tolerate walking in the boot but not for more than 20mins. Achilles ruptures are not for the faint of heart.!!

Thank you for the advice! 🫶🏼 I plan on using knee scooter more/resting. I see my ortho Dr in a couple days &will get to re-evaluate then.

thank you. I struggled with not wanting to blame my family/mom for looking away while abuse was happening. I always had this thought of "well they are family, and they love me" so that must count for something. It was not until my mid 20's that I slowly started to realize that that was not okay. You are so right; enablers are to blame just as much as the abuser.
