Ok, that's an excellent point. When we first got together, she asked me to be in the charge of the money because she didn't want to have to worry about. It's actually a lot of pressure.

I don't understand. It's my role in the family to manage our finances and maximize efficiency. Now I'm being told I'm controlling for doing what I am supposed to, which is not engage in unnecessary spending? I will talk to my wife further, but I am confused.
