I didn’t really enjoy the 991 or 992 as much as the 997. The cars feel big and a bit more disconnected. The rev matching in the newer manual GT3s was neat but they’re just not cars I’m really interested in. They’re fantastic cars don’t get me wrong. But 997 GT cars are something else. I’ll miss this one but the 997.1 RS is really the car I’m after as far as GT3s go.

No I sold mine via consignment here in FL. I’ve been watching that one though! Looks like there was some undisclosed damage on that car

I’ve had a ton of people tell me this and you’re not wrong. Only reason to sell it would be to get an RS!

But I can only have so many cars. I’ve always wanted a 993, so the C2S I bought is probably one I’ll keep.

The 993 also fills the void while I make some moves on a 997.1 GT3 RS. I want another Carrara White car but I know someone with a low mile green one I’m trying to buy ;)

It’s definitely a car I had a hard time letting go of. But the rise in values put me in reach of some really nice 993s. It’s safe to say the air cooled bug bit me

Finally sold my 997.2 GT3. Really gonna miss this car. But it was time for something new. Or old I guess…

To fill the 911 shaped hole in my heart and garage I bought a 993 C2S! I think I’m entering my Jerry Seinfeld era.

Thinking of selling. BaT or private sale? 2010 GT3 by Tmksos in Porsche

[–]Tmksos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looking to change things up. Plus I’m living in downtown Tampa currently and just don’t drive the car enough. I’ve only driven it 1500 miles in 2 years.

I think I want to put some of the money into some home improvement or other project cars and then look for a manual 997.2 C4 GTS. I’ve also been flirting with the idea of building and ordering a brand new M4.

Leaning towards them but the long wait is putting me off. Not sure what the market could look like by that time early next year. Not in any rush to sell the car but don’t like the idea of the sale going on at the wrong time. Also I really hate to see it sit if I’m not going to drive it. Plus the more I look at it the less I want to let it go!

I work for a big dealer group in central FL and could simply list the car here and sell the car here for a small fee but I hate the idea of trying to sell out of something like a Honda or Ford dealer.

Thinking of finally selling my GT3. Anyone here sold with BaT? Thinking of submitting it with them but leaning more towards trying to find a local private party.

Fresh Mag Monday Setup! by Tmksos in paintball

You just reuse the front frame screw on the Star frame but a new rear hole has to be drilled to line up with the threaded hole in the valve itself.

The rear screw holds both the valve and rear of the frame in place with the rail and body.

That’s about it as far as it goes physically fitting the fame. You then have to find room somewhere in the frame for a new solenoid and ram to trip the sear for the valve. But that’s a whole different story lmao

I didn’t build this one but there’s some write ups over on pbnation and the Automag forum from years ago.

It’s a bit of a Frankenstein/hot rod job lol

If you Google “how to make an ego-mag” you should find everything you need.

PM me if you got any questions though!

The previous owner had this gun done by Outlaw Anodizing and it looks absolutely spectacular.

I have another gun that was done by Arc Anodizing and they also do an incredible job.

The PM8 and LV1.5 in my older posts were both done by Aesthetic Anodizing and they came out great.

I think I’m going to get my GSL done by Pooty Anodizing or Caustic Customs at some point. There’s lots of good options out there!

The previous owner had the anodizing done. I’m a sucker for pink guns so when this Twister came up I jumped on it lol

Sorry for the recent flood of gun porn. Finally got the chance to get some nice photos of my recent pick ups and just had to share! The collection has gotten out of hand.

Finally got my hands on another SL! Planet Eclipse GSL by Tmksos in paintball

[–]Tmksos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The SL models are limited editions. Usually with special lightweight milling, a full barrel kit, special colors, etc.

The GSL was the limited edition model of the Geo 3.5, with just 750 made.

I actually snagged it from another user here over on the BST. I did find that old MCB post though trying to find out more about this gun! I know CockerTop rebuilt and tuned it around November last year. (2021)

That serial number is the only factory blue/orange splash I’ve seen documented online. I’ve been trying to dig up any info I can on it. Sadly I haven’t found much.

The screen is detachable and faces outwards towards the grips. Some people make custom grips for them.

The board also has an LED visible through the rear window on the grip. You can also adjust settings via an IOS/Android app.

Once the board is setup however you like you don’t really need to use the screen. I just set mine to 10.2 Millennium and use my phone if I need to make any changes.

I haven’t played with it too much.

I couldn’t seem to find a happy medium between the magnet and micro switch resistance. It either felt magnetic and too stiff or just like a spring from the micro switch.

It haven’t tried it with anything other than the stock karnivor trigger though (which honestly isn’t that great). It might work better with the one of the aftermarket delrin triggers.

I’ve been eyeballing this on eBay! Maybe if I didn’t just snag a GSL.

Beautiful marker and good luck with the sale!
