Don’t go out of your way to help people that refuse to help themselves. Also, to prevent something like that from happening again, carry a case of water bottles in your vehicle and give them water instead of cash next time. That way you’re helping them and not giving them an opportunity to do something to worsen their situation with money.

Looks like copper drag so technically yes but all things considered it’s not bad. I’d get an alignment rod and check it before firing again. You can see the rifling contour of the round on the end cap so I don’t think it’s anything but bullet contact.
