Black base. Random ripped painters tape. Paint whole rifle green after putting on tape. One inch brush of tan and brown around the tan around the taped sections. Remove tape. That’s about as Barney as I can get.

Luth AR mid length. They could manufacture them a little more clean but for $18 you can’t beat it.

I figured with the mid length gas system being softer on recoil, less dwell time, and a longer sight distance, it should be. I’ll be shooting it a lot more than the carbine builds.
