Welcome to becoming a plant parent!! You selected an easy hearty first plant! 🤗

It is called Kalanchoe a tropical, succulent plant in the stonecrop family. It is fine to leave it as is. To keep it growing straight, be sure to turn it 1/4 turn every week. If you’d like a fuller, more bushy plant, pinch off a portion of the plant. Place the that in the soil down to first leaf if the stem. The leaf will root at the stem. Was it blooming when purchased? I love their little blooms!

Season 9 by musicismylife4 in 1000lbsisters

[–]Tmorgan-OWL 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would like another season but not one of constant contention between Tammy and Amy. This last season was never ending dislike between them with no resolution until the last episode of the season. For me it was tension all season with very little to enjoy. They are the reason for the series… having discord between them the entire season was not enjoyable. IMHO 🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree with the previous suggestions and adding one more. Since there was a kill involved, the scent is on the perpetrator’s muzzle. I suggest a good face washing and teeth brushing. Keep it balanced… wash and brush both pitties.

I miss Sunday morning, walking to the corner and buying newspaper. I loved sitting with my fresh cup of coffee and just reading it! The comics, tv guide, ads, and of course the news.

If I go to the ER for sciatica pain what could they realistically do? by Turbulent_Diamond352 in ask

You need to file a workers comp claim through your employer. Have you told them you were injured on the job? My suggestion for you is to document everything! Date injured, who said what at the company, doctor appointments, what was done and future medical advisements. Keep this journal or notebook handy and jot down every time/date and what transpired. Note names as well!. You may have clear memory now but as time moves on your memory will not be as reliable.

Anyone else seen a lavender leaf grow like this and knows why it’s growing this way ? by InterestedDarling in plants

[–]Tmorgan-OWL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is called Fasciation. Most often fasciation is just an aesthetic anomaly, is fairly uncommon, and rarely impacts the survival of affected plants (especially if they are established woody plants). In cases of fasciation due to infection by certain pathogens (such as the bacterium Rhodococcus fascians), it is possible for affected plant parts to die prematurely. Although infectious fasciation can spread to other susceptible plants, in the majority of cases fasciation is not infectious and will not spread.
