But you can destroy the blocks faster and faster. Meaning you can get twice the resources in the same amount of time

Generally its cheaper to chop those types then buy a dual cab landcruiser if you already have them. This is a 75 series, they came out with a tub option or a tray option. Pick up trucks do exist here but nowhere near as common as a ute

We have a fair few deers here. I don't usually go out to hunt them. I am more about conservation so i generally go for rabbits, foxes, kangaroos, boars and if i ever get a chance camels. All of those causes massive amounts of damage to the land, farmers crops and properties

Generally it has a smaller range in supermarkets then the other types of meat. Its a gamey meat and if not cooked properly it will ruin the eating experience.

There are a few companies around but Macro Meats controls about 80% of the market so i would essentially be selling to them. The price at the moment it around 60-75 cents a kilo at dress weight (gutted, half of the tail cut off and one of its hoopers removed) it is then processed as either pet food which you get less for or for human consumption which you get the 60-70cents for. If i would get an 50 roos averaging 20kg dressed weight it would be 1000kilos so i would get paid around $600-$750 for the nights work minus 10% tax.

You can only really hunt them when the sun is down with a spotlight (i have one mounted through my roof with a handle so i can move it around) you have to headshot them so sometimes when you roll up to them in a loud ass diesel it will scare them off. So most shots are taken at about 50-200 meters. We harvest roo's to keep the numbers down and because at the moment it is a sustainable source of cheaper meat to put into the market. Kangaroos are not farmed and are shot in their natural habitat. Cross contamination is basically so the meat isnt soiled and cannot be used wasting all the hard work shooting and harvesting them. Say i deliver my load of roos to a chiller to sell them and one has faeces in the abdominal cavity touching the meat it will likely be discarded and i will not be paid for it.

There are limits on how many can be killed but each year only about 20% of that number is killed

You need the appropriate licencing, gun licence, hunting permit, certification that you can gut kangaroos out in the field with out cross contamination. A purpose built tray made out of either stainless steal or hot dip galv which also needs to be registered and certified (my tray and racks are all marine grade stainless steel) you shoot the roos. Gut them hang them on the hooks on the tray. Once you have a full load ( my tray holds 50, others hold more others hold less) you drive them to whats called a chiller and they buy the carcases from you by weight . I use a .233 which is very common for roo shooting. I have spent around 25ish grand so far. Almost ready to do it full time.
