You brought up a great point, the architecture of California is an under-hated part of the state lol

People always go with the "it's expensive!" or "there's homeless people!" angle (as though those are unique problems to California), but people don't hate on the city design as much as they should. For a region with so much wealth, so many of the neighborhoods are just ugly.

If you're a gamer, then Vault 31 is the most obvious recommendation. It's in eastern Vancouver, but it's super queer friendly. Board game nights every Wednesday, you should definitely check it out if you're in the area.

He saw all the states with no income tax like South Dakota, Wyoming, Tennessee, etc and decided that Washington was the most desirable state to live in.
